Please! The 1st Avenger movie didn't even get its theater expansion until its 18th weekend, BP is just finishing off its 17th weekend!🙄

BP entered 2nd run theaters a couple of weeks about but b/c it had held on to so many theaters until then there wasn't a clear demarcation

I can see the Deadline/Variety/TheWrap headlines now, "Disney fudges Infinity War WW gross by over $500K to reach $2 Billion". I doubt they want to join Paramount with their Transformers fudging mess! Besides, doesn't Disney hold the fastest to $2 Billion record? They win either way!

Let me help you with a very important point here.

 

The Avengers did not arrive on home video until three weeks AFTER that weekend data you posted above. September 25, 2012 to be exact.

 

Black Panther has been out on home video for a month now. There is no major expansion coming for it unless it receive a drive-in bundle with The Incredibles 2. Solo or AIW are far more likely than BP to benefit from I2 double features, though. BP certainly is not going to increase 1,600 theaters this weekend amidst the crowded summer marketplace.

Just got out of Ocean's 8. I thought it was fantastic. I loved how they captured the essence of the Met Gala. Really felt like I was watching a live feed of it  But most importantly I loved loved loved the cast. It's your typical heist film, yes, but the cast just elevates it to a whole other level in my opinion. 

 

Im really hoping it gets a sequel because that was so much fun. I wanna see what Debbie Ocean and the gang do next
