Scott from Forbes has posted an article about Warner Bros' success at the box office:

He does make good points especially how mismanagement can paint a studio in a bad light but it shouldn't affect the successes as well.

Strange title.

It's like "Disney already has 6 billion in 2018, let's delay other projects!!!".

WB needs DC success for bigger success.

MI6 will crack 220M right? :)

Think it falls 1-2 million short. Here is where Rogue Nation pretty much died out and the same happens to Fallout likely with 3 new releases this weekend.

RO had a 4.1m weekend and the run ended quicker than folks expected. only added 6.9 more. Fallout needs 7.8 after a 3.9 weekend. Would have fully expected it to do 220 but RO's trajectory makes me less sure.

Worldwide yes, needs about another 3 million domestically. Should do that by this weekend.

So far, Fallout has had better weekdays but comparatively has had smaller weekends but it evens out. So I would expect about another 7 million, same as RN.

A bit of a strange article all together.

In 2016:  Fans spent $4.5 billion on DC-related consumer products.

Video games is a 1.5 billion a year business for WB a lot driven by is DC IP title.

If WB does not need once 3-4 movies were success, it didn't needed it before those either.
