SUR(V)IVOR: Episode 9 - Strife Itself

[Ezen Baklattan]

Spaghetti: Each team is on a separate floor of the abandoned building, and need to find a way to get down. Of course, one is lower than the other...or are they? And they've got some fierce hunts in the area.

 

Keanu: Okay, we need to talk. You've been acting super weird since the switch happened.

Slambros: What do you mean? I'm doing fine.

Keanu: Wait...you just wanted me to choose you over Sheikh?

Slambros: No! But....he didn't know you like I did?

Keanu: Look. Right now, I'd like to make it to the merge. And I'm starting to hope you don't.

Slambros: How could you say that? I....I love you!

*pause*

Keanu: I.....I was starting to feel for you too. I just....I hope I can forgive this.

Slambros: Forgive? I barely did anything wrong.

Claire: Now is not the time for you to be babbling. We gotta win this for once and rid you of your team curse reputation. 

Chasmmi: Indeed. Of course, I did manage to find a fairly easy way to get furhter down. There's a set of fireman's poles we can take to at least get a bit lower.

Keanu: The hell are they doing here?

Wondyful: Chasmmi....why don't you be the first to look?

Chasmmi:  Very well. Give me a flashlight.

 

*He goes down into a dark space. Suddenly, music starts to play, and @ZeeSoh is standing nearby.*

ZeeSoh: I forgive you, darling. I know you have feelings for me.

Chasmmi: Are you sure?! After what I had done...

ZeeSoh: Enough talk, just kiss me.

Chasmmi: Well....*noticing an exit sign near the wall* I suppose I could make time -

*ZeeSoh instantly transforms into an alien monster, vomiting a webbed net onto Chasmmi and making him fall to the ground. He is completely wrapped and dragged away by the monster.*

 

Baumer: We shouldn't go down the pole. I have a bad feeling about this.

WrathOfHan: And what is your bad feeling, exactly?

Baumer: It's.....too obvious. We need to find another way.

WrathOfHan: Wait...that window might be open.

DAJK: And equipment is there too.

YourMother: What do you say we Ghost Protocol this thing?

Sheikh: We should probably send 1 or 2 people down to investigate that it works, then we can all go. I would volunteer to go first, but -

YourMother: I got it!

DAJK: Guess I can come with.

Empire: Makes that nice and easy. There could be several clues, so I may keep looking if that's cool. But....not that I don't have confidence in you. Good luck!

 

*DAJK an YourMother begin to scale.*

DAJK: We're...we're still good, right?

YourMother: Why wouldn't we be?

DAJK: I feel like there's something insidious going on. Way bigger than all of us, and....I trust you.

YourMother Uh huh.

DAJK: Is there something you're not telling me? What is this society?

YourMother: Who told you - I mean, what are you talking about?

DAJK: Empire's misadventures with Rorschach still has him muttering in his sleep, even after he got booted. Look, you can tell me. I just want to help you.

YourMother: Let's just make it down and then I'll tell you....why did the wall get so sticky?

DAJK: I can't move?!

*DAJK and YourMother are swept into the window web and dragged inside.*

 

Claire:  I'm not hearing anything. We need to go down further.

Keanu: Are you sure that's safe?

Wondyful: It may be our only option....except maybe not. Look at this.

Keanu: She...already climbed down. What's the other option?

Slambros: There's a mirror maze nearby. We need to explore it.

*Noises from the basement.*

Claire: No, NO! You are being too extra right now! Don't you dare...don't you dare...AUGH!!! *muffled noises*

Slambros: Well that doesn't sound good. Run.

 

*Sheikh, WrathOfHan, Baumer, and Empire also go into the maze.*

Empire: This way guys, we have to keep moving. I did these mazes all the time as a kid. Guys....guys? Where did you all go? I need us to feel like a team here. Hello?

*A web drops down and Empire is swept inside, dangling like a punhcing bag. It keeps moving along the maze.

WrathOfHan: Has anyone seen Empire?

Sheikh: I don't know...but we need to....look out!

WrathOfHan: The hell are you - ? *Sheikh ducks, but the bad Empire is in smacks WrathOfHan in the face like a wrecking ball, absorbing him inside. Wrath sees Empire sound asleep, covered in a webby substance.* Awesome.

 

*Sheikh is alone, finding Keanu and Slambros from the other team.*

Sheikh: Well I can tell this won't go well.

Keanu: We're not talking about that now. Have you seen Baumer? CaptainWondyful isn't anywhere near us.

Sheikh: That's the issue?! A bunch of my teammates were trapped in giant webs!!

Slambros: What?

Keanu: That probably happened to Claire and Chasmmi....we have to keep going towards the center of the maze. There's gotta be something here. It's.....a music box?!

Slambros: It plays....Rihanna.

Keanu: Uh guys....

Sheikh: Why did the walls turn silver?

Slambros: The ground is shaking.

Keanu: Hold on to something.

 

*The trio comes crashing down, tower of terror style, entering a nest with the predator monsters and....6 webbed up contestants. 2 are missing. The monsters are about to attack, but....Slambros plays the music box, which makes them weak. Keanu and Sheikh slash open the nests and revive everyone, as the entry is in plain sight.*

 

Baumer: Hey guys, what took you so long?

CaptainWondyful: You look like you got into a hell of a mess.

Keanu, Slambros, and Sheikh: Don't get us started. *All three smile at each other.*
