Just wrote up a long one but my Internet went out literally as soon as I clicked post and it didn't autosave. Have a trailer report instead only (these were small crowds, at most 10% each).

Manchester by the Sea: Hidden Figures featurette, Bitter Harvest, Jackie, Lion, Fences, La La Land, Sing ticket bumper

Doctor Strange: Hidden Figures featurette, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Power Rangers, Sing ticket bumper

Passengers

Cinemark North Hollywood

(they did NOT give out posters by the way, maybe that is only Christmas Day )

25-30% full

Trailers that I remember

Blade Runner (I'm going to have to see this. It was just a teaser but...)

Spiderman Homecoming

The Ghost one with Scarlett Johanson (I'm blanking on the name) (one couple whispering about this)

Valarian (looks much cooler in 3D)

Beauty and the Beast (also in 3D)

Hidden Figures

I didn't pay attention to the crowd once the movie started.  A lot of them stayed through most of or all of the credits though.

This is worth seeing in 3D imho, but I wish I could have seen it in IMAX.

I saw Sing in Dallas on Saturday, Dec. 24th, and got the same trailers and similar reactions. However, Nut Job 2 got lots of laughs.

Yeah, I was somewhat surprised Lego Batman was mostly muted.  Heard a few chuckles, and that's it.  Then again, most of the people in my theater were college-aged females (not exactly the target audience), so maybe that was a factor?

It's like I've been saying, there wasn't a real standout factor for that movie.

BTW, my theatre was mostly families. I saw a few pre-teens as well.

Rogue One

Dec 24th, 2:30PM, 35% full

Trailers:

Passengers

Lego Batman

Kong Skull Island

Pork Pie

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 - Only one that got notable response. Everyone laughed and seemed excited.

Kind of hard to gauge. Was a big auditorium so we were a while away from everyone else but everyone came out seeming like they enjoyed it. My mum liked it.

Moana

Dec 26th, 11:30AM, 85% full

Trailers:

Lego Batman

Monster Trucks

Red Dog: True Blue

Crowd was really into it. Got laughs throughout. Experience wasn't too bad considering the number of kids in the audience. All the kids were pretty well behaved and seemed into the film.

Your Name

Dec 27th, 1:00PM, 50% full

Trailers:

Passengers

Lego Batman

Pork Pie

Red Dog: True Blue

Everyone seemed to like it. Lots of people talked among themselves for a while after the movie ended. Kind of inconvenient because we were in the middle of the row between two groups so got a little trapped there but whatever.

Some pretty big laughs throughout, and a few people clapped after some of the jokes.  One person kept checking their phone throughout their theater and brought their 5 year old kid as well...great parenting, great respect for the audience, I guess?
