Jonwo
I think the fact it was actually promoted over here helped Magic Mike's Last Dance to match the OW of the previous film. Puss in Boots will dominate Monday-Thursday though. Edited February 12, 2023 by Jonwo

Salma even presented a Brit Award last night with two strippers lol

Jiffy
So I assume $100m for A2 won't happen now barring some eventual re-release?

Krissykins
Marcel the Shell has zero evening showtimes at my local from Friday and then goes down to once a day during the week, strange. Had to move Titanic to tomorrow night, looking forward to seeing it again. One of my all time favourite films.
The Dark Alfred
Saw TITANIC again. Can watch that masterpiece any time. It was epic. 3D absolutely pointless but what can you do. Next up ETERNAL SUNSHINE tomorrow to complete the Winslet week lol
Sophia Jane
I have watched Titanic for at least 20 times so I will not watch the re-released..but the re-released seems doing pretty OK
SchumacherFTW
Yeah, echoing the sentiments here, Titanic is unbeatable on the big screen, no modern blockbuster even comes close, including those by Cameron himself. Tried VIP at Cineworld for it last night, decent value if you're an unlimited sub, but it's not really worth the premium they're charging normal ticket holders, especially with a busted speaker for one of the channels.

Heretic
From what I’ve seen from a few locations, Ant Man pre sales actually look pretty good. The usual suspects such as Vue Stratford are selling out shows throughout the afternoon and evening tomorrow. Expecting a decent opening, maybe £7m or so. Ant Man 2 opened to almost £5m. It looks busy here too for the evening showings. The 19.30 3D IMAX is really busy, that’s our showing tomorrow. The 10.30AM IMAX showing is busier than all of the regular 3D showings put together lol.

Heretic
Oh damn, that’s big for Ant man! OD is 75% of Ant Man 2 entire weekend. Looks like the UK is over performing compared to basically everywhere. £9m looks possible. Will probably be a bit frontloaded due to schools being off yesterday in the half the country. Nice for PIB too, should stay flat this weekend or even increase Edited February 18, 2023 by Heretic

I haven't seen it yet but the (obviously limited to personal experience) anecdotal responses I've had so far are actually really positive - not reflective of the overall critical/film-twittery trends at all.
