I was pretty shocked to hear Kermode reviewing it-I figured 80 For Brady would skip the UK, but maybe they hoped interest in the stars would help. Or, I thought they would retitle it internationally to something more generic like "Golden Girls Trip" and try to downplay the football elements in the trailers. Heretic
Actually pretty good for D&D. Looking like £3.5m opening possible, and there are 2 weeks of school holidays now. JW4 should have a decent 2nd weekend too, maybe £3m.
Ipickthiswhiterose
Think D&D has a big span of possibility in the UK depending on if word of mouth spills into the family market. If it does then this has the potential to be a WOM tank. If it doesn't then it may just fall on its face here. Mario and it's (to me) inexplicable inherent appeal and even more inexplicably (to me) positively-received trailers scares me.

Maybe £400k for the weekend. Looks solid for D&D. I’m sure it’ll be the second choice for families over the next two weeks, but D&D drops from 16 showings on Tuesday to 7 on Wednesday. So it loses 9 showings to Mario on day 6 of its run.
