SnokesLegs
Sad to see that The End We Start From didn’t seem to make any kind of impact at all over the last couple of weeks, I saw it the other day and thought it was great, it had a strong Children of Men vibe to it. Jodie Comer was fantastic in it too.
Allanheimer
Who do we have winning the weekend then; Argylle or Migration? Either way Universal wins, but I’m coming with Migration. I wouldn’t be shocked if Argylle pulls it out somehow, but it’s the first animated film for youngings in over two months.
SchumacherFTW
Probably migration, though it's big money spinner is still another week or so away

Simplyobsessed
The reviews for Argylle are bad so I think it should run out of steam quickly.

That’s honestly a fairly weak start for Migration, only £30k higher than Wish. Should still go for £2.5m+ FSS, but this really puts a dampener on even £15m+ total here. With no other competition besides Wonka, I had that as the floor until now.
SchumacherFTW
Migration will do closer to 1m per day during half term week, no need to panic right now

I’m assuming Zone of Intetest and American Fiction are quite limited, because those look like low numbers. Fiction had big promo on Graham Norton last night so maybe they’re expanding it. Purple Minion
Deadline: Illumination/Universal’s Migration finally flew into the UK and did so with a great $4.5M at No. 1 and across 1,500 screens including 35 4DX screens. The start is double Encanto, and above Moana, Wish and Elemental and in-line with Despicable Me. Saturday grossed $2.2M, representing the biggest Saturday number for an animated title since Uni and Illumination’s Super Mario Bros last April.
