SnokesLegs
Dune looking strong near me on Friday, my local Light Cinema has added two extra screens because the other two evening shows in the biggest screens are near guaranteed sellouts. The IMAX at Cineworld is down to the last 3 rows for Friday night and even the midnights are doing decent business.

I'd hope it was still down on Mugen Train, that was actually a movie 😅

Only a £52k difference though, despite one not being a film. Edited February 26 by Krissykins

Krissykins
My local isn’t showing Lisa Frankenstein, which I actually read didn’t open until 22nd March, but it’s this Friday. Wonder if this is because Universal put it on streaming today. Will travel to the second local to catch it.

SchumacherFTW
I'm surprised BFI IMAX didn't try and go around the clock for Dune like they did with Oppenheimer, they've got 16 seats left total for the weekend, at least one show per night between 3-6am would surely have been viable at this point. Simplyobsessed
Looking great for Dune in the cinemas around me. You can't get a good seat this weekend and the peak times tonight are sold out, not as good as Barbenheimer opening weekend though where you couldn't even get a seat by this point unless it was 9am or right at the front. Looking forward to seeing the numbers! Edited March 1 by Simplyobsessed

Heretic
More than any film I’ve seen before, there is clearly so much demand for premium format/IMAX screens for Dune that people will simply wait a bit longer to see this than rush to any screening available. So think we will see business more spread out because of this.
UKBoxOffice
I was hedging my bets a bit last night - it was definitely going to be over £2m but under £3m 1. Dune £2.81m 2. Bob Marley £351k 3. Wicked Little Letters £330k 4. Migration £70k 5. Madame Web £49k 6. Lisa Frankenstein £30k I agree Dune is a bit underwhelming, especially as that includes midnight business. Afternoon business seemed to be pretty non-existent local to me yesterday, so maybe it'll have a big jump today with people off work? 4

UKBoxOffice
Not sure, but a lot of them were as part of double bills with Dune Part 1 which took £105k on Thursday, so make of that what you will.

Can’t say I’m surprised at Lisa Frankenstein, even I didn’t know it was coming this weekend until the other day. And my local isn’t even showing it, urgh. Agreed, a bit underwhelming for Dune 2. PLF heavy too no doubt.
