Upon knowing the negative reactions......

If you are still in the 1 billion club and have not run out there like a rat sneaking off the sinking ship, I am worried about your sense of urgency.

LMAO this is literally the same thing that happened with Deadpool, some negative reactions and suddenly it´s all over. It's a very small sample size of reactions. This is making 1B+ and then some.

Many mid at best type reactions even on Letterboxd. They are usually glowing since they are written with hype after festivals.

Even on letterboxd? The first one was a punching bag there the same way Green Book was, this is the last place where you can expect the most positive reaction.

It became a punching bag there after a month or so when Todd tried to claim it as cinema. The early reviews were super positive.

Well, it was? Because it sure sounds like a dumb reason to suddenly shit on the movie excessively.

I applaud your optimism. Good luck with your 1B+. But, it is obvious to me that Todd has shitted the bed this time. My guess?  RT score: 40-50 ,  WW box office : 700m (should be even lower).

Why are people acting like Letterboxd hated the first movie? It has 3.9 rating.

90+% of top reviews were extremely negative, plus it was lower than 3.9 on release, reception softened a bit years later, time heals.

reviews from letterboxd are not that good  not because they say something about the real quality but because seems like people loved the first movie will not like this so not encouraging for the legs of the movie.

Critics didn't love the first movie too so i don't care that much about that, what people are specifically writing is something to worrying about.

David Ehrlich from IndieWire gave it a C-.

Of course he rushed to be first in line to see a sequel of the movie he hated so much, he's not the only one, that's why I'm still confident in its box office.
