Weekdays Thread (02/10 - 02/13) Parasite Takeover. Tuesday P3.

Jumanji and Frozen franchises  are really strong in top 10s/movie. 12.5 for Frozen, ~12 for Jumanji (well, I guess 10 and change counting the 1995 version). Are there any other multi-entry franchises in the double digits for average top 10s?

I guess if you count them as a “franchise,” Aladdin, The Lion King, and Beauty and the Beast all score quite well with the original+remake. Seems sketchy though. Maybe should restrict to 21st century only.

The Rhythm Section Paramount Pictures   94   3,049   -2,955

That can't be right. Losing 2955, down to just 94 left, would be beyond epic.

From Paramount. Maybe they are freeing as much space as possible for Sonic.

Rather than increasing on Galentine Day it decreased.

Not following past trends which make me bit nervous for the weekend.

We tried to warn you. Being flat, which really down 2% is as close to flat as it could be with a drop was the best it could hope for with underperformance and new previews / screen losses effecting it.

It will still be large today by nature of the holiday but its dropping at least 50% for the 3 day.

Solid Thursday, with 3.6 million sucked out in 2 new films previews (and whatever Parasite did in that regard) its a nice day.

Glad to see that Jumanji managed to be solid, had feared a 10% drop with Sonic (its screen count hold I am sure helped.)

I have never once heard of Galentine Day until now... isn't it just something from Parks and Rec. I doubt enough people care enough to have an impact of the box office
