Black Adam is getting reshoots

But why did it take this long for them to do reshoots? Hell, even if reshoots are the reason, I still don’t see why it would need to get delayed. Suicide Squad had major reshoots pretty late in the game, but it still made its release date.

Rock has a busy schedule, more test screening revealed it needed work

Suicide Squad made its release date with an incoherent cut, though. Some characters are introduced 3 times and their mission is literally just to escort Amanda Waller from her office to the helicopter in the rooftop, which makes no sense logically or chronologically. We should be glad WB is giving Black Adam more time for reshoots.

So they'll flush hundreds of millions of dollars down the drain just to get people off their backs?

what money are they flushing down the drain by claiming Ezra won't be in their future projects?

And I suspect the completion insurance rates for films featuring Miller just went through the roof.

Warners looked the other way at Miller's problems, hoped they would go away, and they have'nt.

Guy needs to go in for treatment..and real treatment not the luxury resort crap mental treamtent Hollywood is so fond of.

Warners is very glad that the multiverse gives them pleny of options in handling this.

Though I wonder why just plain recasting is not being talked about. Remember how Batman was recast twice during the Burton era?

Looking forward to seeing the movie in 2024

Frankly, Robert Downey Jr needs to have  talk with Miller.\Miller seems on the same self destructive course that Downey was on that came very close to wrecking his career.

It's not RDJ's responsibility, they're not even co-workers. Miller is clearly an abusive, toxic mess.

As was RDJ.

That was my point.

Of course it's not RDJ responsilbitly, but still he is an exmaple of somebody who basically destroyed his career. he came back, yes but only after a long ,hard struggle.

I guess people forget how Downey basically self destructed in the 90's and it took him nearly a decade to come back.

RDJ is like: I couldn't even save this kid. How could I save another one from another universe?

Quote

Oscars: ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ Team Plans Best Picture Push, Tom Holland Open to Hosting (Exclusive)

“You can ask [Martin] Scorsese ‘Would you want to make a Marvel movie?’ But he doesn’t know what it’s like because he’s never made one,” asserts Tom Holland — who has played the title character in the three most recent Spider-Man films, having previously established himself in the 2012 Oscar-nominated film The Impossible — in reference to journalists’ and filmmakers’ often condescending attitude toward superhero films. “I’ve made Marvel movies and I’ve also made movies that have been in the conversation in the world of the Oscars, and the only difference, really, is one is much more expensive than the other. But the way I break down the character, the way the director etches out the arc of the story and characters — it’s all the same, just done on a different scale. So, I do think they’re real art.”

“When you’re making these films, you know that, good or bad, millions of people will see them, whereas when you’re making a small indie film, if it’s not very good no one will watch it. So it comes with different levels of pressure. I mean, you can also ask Benedict Cumberbatch or Robert Downey Jr. or Scarlett Johansson — people who have made the kinds of movies that are ‘Oscar-worthy’ and also made superhero movies — and they will tell you that they’re the same, just on a different scale. And there’s less Spandex in ‘Oscar movies.'”

Looks like they got an out of court settlement. So that's that unless he acts out again.

And you know, from his history, he will act up again.

He no doubt thinks he got away with it again, and will therefore do it again.

Tom's image is so squeaky clean that some dumb comments about comic book movies is your example of destructive  or problematic behaviour that will ruin his career lol. RDJ did good with him, I would say.
