Okay, episode 02 is a runner-up for best one hour of a MCU show we’ve ever got so far. Raw. Intense. Sharp dialogue. Never forget that Samuel L. Jackson is one of the best motherf***er in Hollywood. Seriously, Nick motherf***cking Fury deserved getting to shine like this. This is some Marvel’s Daredevil at its prime levels of brutal. Can’t believe they got away with this for Disney+.

Wouldn't call it best hour of MCU tv show . Start was a bit clunky but second half was very strong and overall an improvement on the first.

 

Yeah shit got dark and Olivia Coleman was incredible in that whole scene .

 

This episode dealt with some of the world building issues I had in the first episode ,so was a little quick to judge .

If it is so good, then they should have released it during Phase 4 after Wandavision or Loki, when people were excited for the MCU. It would have built up hype for The Marvels movie, but they are releasing it when the level of interest in the MCU is so low that people are not giving shit about even Nick Fury. What a missed opportunity!

…what? LMAO. People are not giving a shit about Marvel and Vol. 3 is the biggest film of the Summer. That seems to check out.

Secret Invasion is the 2nd-lowest-watched MCU show, and this show is about Nick Fury, who is the Godfather of the MCU, and that itself shows how low people's interest is in the MCU's overarching storyline now. Instead of releasing this show in Phase 4, they prioritised irrelevant shows like Moon Knight and She-Hulk. And GOTG3 was James Gunn's movie; it attracted many DCU fans who aren't interested in other MCU movies. Also, excellent WOM saved this movie. Its success doesn't reflect the overall health of the MCU.

It may not be accurate but it shows the direction. You'll know when the Nielsen data comes, its first week viewership would be lower than She-Hulk and Moon Knight

Okay, let’s see when Nielsen data drops then, like some weeks from now, and no, I still insist that Samba is incredibly unreliable. When you compare with Netflix that releases actual data it’s just too big of a difference to ignore.

Just watched Episode 2, and man, it really hit it stride after a clumsy first episode.

I love the way the stakes keep getitng higher. And the final scene was a shocker.

Other than some bright spots in  episode two . This show is boring AF😴

Let's see how it ends but this has got to be one of blandest spy thrillers ive seen. 

Olivia Colman is clearly enjoying herself but the rest are sleepwalking in this . Plot has no urgency or tension .

 

Emilia Clarke is cast in another bland mediocre predictable role.

 

Show tried to be MCU's andor but the writing and directing is so subpar.

Character deaths have become meaningless . It's like this show does it for the sake and it lacks emotional weight.

 

Hey gravik you have superpowers no need to waste time with gun fights, you literally indestructible. 

 

Super skrull plotline is lame and just takes an urgency from the plot .

 

Geez Disney it's a 6 episode season . Two sub 40 min episodes in a row.

 

Yeah two good scenes in this episode but overall this episode was terrible.  So the twist coming from a country away. That's how utterly predictable this show is. Writing has been beyond lazy.

 

This show has fucked the skrulls so bad. 

 

Congratulations Disney you have turned one of the iconic marvel comic storylines and potentially  badass villians into run of the mill  Disney +  content.

 

This could have been an avengers film or a MCU event film. What a waste.

Yeah this show pretty much sucks. I have found all the previous MCU shows to be at least decent, this one I'm having to force myself through. Nothing makes any sense and nothing has any weight.
