Anybody have Sony's top 5 all-time movies (worldwide)?

Nevermind the numbers has them.

1) FFH - 1.13 billion

2) Skyfall - 1.11 billion

3) Jumanji (reboot) - 961 million

4) Spider-man 3 - 894 million

5) Homecoming - 880 million

So NHW will become the biggest Sony film in history, their 3rd movie to cross 1 billion and their first movie to cross 1.5 billion.

And that's without China. :hahaha:

4 out of 6 of Sony's top movies are Spider-man films.

Spidey's really carrying them on his back.

Especially now that they don't have James Bond.

They have Venom. All they have to do is put Andrew and/or Tobey in Venom 3. :Venom:

It is actually nice to see Encanto as the one film benefiting from NWH spillover, because it's a really lovely, fun movie. A pity that the Disney+ release will kill its legs, but I guess Disney doesn't care too much about it.

It's become another incentive for people to keep their Disney Plus sub.

That seems to be the primary motive for Disney's animation productions these days.

Covid19 will have a say in terms of repeat audience. So many people are posting that they want to watch it again but sceptical because of Covid19 fear. Few are posting they will wait for weeks so that they can watch with less crowd . Matrix Resurrection may also get effected much more with simultaneous HBOMAX release with people being sceptical.

I still think that prerelease D+ News made a ton of people stay home. “Why go when I can go see it in a month?”

Realistically, how much is WSS gonna end up with? Sing 2 will steal some of the musical audience, even tho they are not exactly the same target audience

It should recover a bit over the holidays (and then will have potential Oscar bumps from there), but it just got hit really bad this weekend due to Spider-Man forcing it into small auditoriums (it sold out the main night show where I saw Spidey last night but that was because it was in only a 50 seat theater). Encanto is clearly benefitting the most from potential Peter Parker spillover, unsurprisingly.

Not too awful of an opening for Nightmare Alley tbh. Could've been worse. Mentioned a few days ago in the tracking thread this was never going to be an easy sell even with that all-star cast.

Wait so according to you they saw it opening weekend with a crowded theater but now they're worried about covid lol

Impressive Top 5 WW films by Sony, so far. Three SM-films, one James Bond-film and one Jumanji-film. 🤯😲

Jumanji: WTTJ, was one of the closer movies to $1B WW, but didn’t really getting there.
