Magic Mike seems confusing for me to work out whats its going to do. BoPro has it 16-25M opening, Qourum numbers are ok only. Sales seem ok but there is talk of it not being marketed and pushed to as many theaters as it could with Warner cutting back.

So is it going to open at 20+ and leg it out or not do so well?

currently, what are expectations on Titanic's re-release domestically ? Can it do better than Avatar1's last year re-release numbers ?

Yeah I was going to say, I think @keysersoze123 is being cautious in saying 20+ but it feels more like a 30+ breakout.

it could go higher. its too early to hone in on OW. Plus its not good to extrapolate with just early presales of previews alone. For 30m+ OW it needs 4m+ previews. Not impossible but let us wait and see how things go.

Does it really need such a high preview?

 

Old did 1.5M/16.85M so 11+ multi. This will be a lot bigger. Maybe it wont do 10x but I think it does more than an 8x.

I guess it also depends on the reviews. His last two movies were pretty poorly reviewed. Here’s hoping.
