Dr. Strange has a way bigger global start with $449M, but it is expected to end its run with somewhere around $930M due to mixed audience reactions. WOM around the world for JWD is not so gentle either. A similar or slightly better multiple should happen for it. WW total? @charlie Jatinder
Sophia Jane
I think JWD will around$850m in overall gross with the bad WOM.

There's a lot of goodwill from the first film and it is Avatar's only major blockbuster competition for the holidays, so the spillover should help too. BA doesn't look all that strong so far and just 2 weeks before BP2 is not a great release date. Speaking of BP2, it still has a chance of being #2. Avatar total is going to come down to what the situation is in Russia and China and whether the film really manages to recapture the experience of the first. titanic2187
JWD overseas is a bigger let down. Looks like TGM eat into JWD potential in a lot of area especially in Europe. Any number from SE Asian? People love dino around here.
Brainbug
One thing that is true for a lot of european markets is that excellent weather hurts box office grosses. Extremely so here in Germany, but also in Austria, Italy and other countrys. Not an excuse for Dominion, but a possible explanation for some lower OW numbers since weather all over Europe is pretty great at the moment.
