After Thor and Minions, there aren't any big releases really, so even with a film with a not-so-great WoM can produce late legs. 1 billion is not happening, but it will end up much closer to DS2 than most people anticipate. The Dark Alfred Posted June 30, 2022 Share Posted June 30, 2022 (edited) We have a great battle on our hands with DS2. As predicted, JWD will win OS and DS2 will win domestic. The WW tally will be close. I'd give the edge to the dinos, mainly because it's going to stay longer in cinemas and the summer weekdays help. Right now I'd say it's going to end up in the somewhat painful territory of 970m. Ahead of DS2 but a bit far from a billion to fudge it over the line. During last week (20-26 June), it made around $125M WW. With hard competition from Minions, I think it will make between $60-$65M (around 50% drop) WW this week thus pumping the total to maybe somewhere between $810-$820M. But idk.
