Its preview numbers are on par with the previous Jurassic Worlds, particularly the 2015's film $18.5 million Thursday opening. Fallen Kingdom had $15.3 million.

There were no other showings listed at the theaters  around me before Thursday. Definitely not a Top Gun type pre Thursday showings

In what world is this embarrassing? Jurassic Park isnt a fan-driven franchise, unlike CBM's or Star Wars, so its a very solid number. The bulk of its money will it earn on Saturday and Sunday, not Thursday.

Because Fallen Kingdom had an IM of 9,67. Dominion needs a 8,3 IM to get to 150M.

 

More likely than not imo, unless WOM is truly stinky which i still doubt. Dont underestimate how not-frontloaded the Jurassic World movies are.

$18m is really good preview number for JWD. Should be able to do around $150m OW.

If this can make 140m+ despite terrible reviews and TGM competition  then JP is low key the strongest franchise around
