Yes,so a cheaper ticket give more poorer people have chance to watch the movie,a free ticket let infinity people to watch the film ,that’s why expensive ticket still attract people is more impressive because people loved the movie more,and willing to pay more,just image a movie with a bullshit quality need you pay €15,are you willing to do that?

Not in my case, but i understand many things like this in this crazy society.

We need China without any COVID problem and Russia release to do that

In normal condition Avatar at least doing $600-700m in China

In normal condition  with China and Russia, whatever final number A2 will make, we can add at least another ~$300M (China + Russia) 

 

So, if A2 final number is around $2.3B-$2.4B, in normal condition with China and Russia, it should be around $2.6B-$2.7B. And that is pretty closed to the original gross of A1 ~$2.7B

This is the dumbest shit I have read today, are you expecting a new Avatar movie after 13yrs to make 2.9bill. Endgame had numerous movies to prepare people for it but avatar had just one movie and some people were hoping it would flop. 

 

The fact you don't like a movie doesn't mean other people don't like it. Looking at the audience and critics scores it's mostly positive but because you didn't enjoy it, that means it a bad story. 

 

Sometimes people like you say things deviod of logic that it just crazy. Given the pandemic and war in Russia, you would have been an absolute dunce to expect this movie to surpass endgame.

I thought the legs developed everywhere pretty much confirm the audience love this ordinary story? The WOM isn't exceptional but they are great. Don't act like the movie has toxic WOM. 

 

If A2 followed NWH's leg, A2 would do only $1.4bn. Taking TFA as reference, A2 can only go $1.6bn. TLJ will give you only $1.2bn~1.3bn. All Hobbit trilogy indicate a finish line of $1.6bn~$1.7bn. Basically it means all comparable indicators show that A2 would have little chance passing $2bn with that $440m worldwide OW but the movie managed to turnaround and pass $2bn easily and comfortably. 

 

With that Oscar best movie nomination and sure win for VFX, the success is complete. Not as perfect as TGM but is complete.
