If true i think it's pretty safe it'll be the largest bomb of the year with a $200mil budget.

And it another example of a studio spending too much on a film. If they could have kept the budget down to SHazan levels..100 Million, they would have  decent chance of breaking even and maybe even getting a decent profit. Now Black Adam will mean Red Ink for Warners..last thing they need at the moment.

Was it something to do with the opening? If not, might be a comp there because it's the same month and similar RT score? It ended up grossing double Shazam.

Delta variant of COVID was really bad in Europe (and possibly Asia) around the time of the Venom 2 release if I remember correctly.
