As I mentioned yesterday I didn't get complete Fri data yesterday but later estimated it around 328k (+52k from previous day). So in raw tickets it's ahead of Fri at the same point and pace is much better. 

This really good , maybe 10-15% jump from True Fri which is better than Thor 4 , good sign for legs.

Thor 4 was 351k final PS which was +89k in slightly more than 24h, I don't remember if we got final from the scraper but should have been in the low 600s.

My Marcus Theaters and Fandango apps are sharting themselves atm. Both my buddy and I can't get into the apps or websites for tickets.

Updated open caption sales data for this opening weekend (Thurs to Sunday) for Deadpool & Wolverine. New York state Regal theaters doing surprisingly well with the open caption screenings. Given that Regal only recently expanded open captions to most New York state theaters, this is rather positive.  Just now it reached the 15.00 threshold. Later, will do a Regal New York state post here and on Reddit.

IMPORTANT NOTES: I originally wasn't going to track this one, but after seeing some impressive pre-sales at my local theater last night, I knew I had to track this one. Safe to say that we are looking at a pretty big late Summer breakout here. 

 

Also, this isn't just from my two local theaters (selling more than 700 tickets in just two alone would be insane), this is from 14 total theaters that I tracked. 

 

I have no idea how big the It Ends with Us fanbase is, but these sales definitely tell me that it is a lot bigger than the Borderlands fanbase.

Even other August films that are similar are nowh close. Trap is at 4 tickets sold coming out later this week. Borderlands is still stuck at a low 5 tickets after being on sale for a few days, and comes out the week before this.

I didn't formally track it, because I got annoyed with the EA show strategy, which makes it challenging to comp.

 

But it's two EA shows are near sellouts, and certain screenings for Thursday are similar, others are largely empty. Still, that's tremendous for a film this size. I just don't have a great way to comp it.
