Final 6 days including walkups for Mario. Mario did 35m OD. Its currently at 1/3 the today with pace at slightly above half. I was just extrapolating if it maintains that through out. But final day walkups could be like 80% of mario. Then it can get around 23-25m OD

Maybe MI7 could be a good comp , ok it's not a family movie but it opened in Wednesday and made 78M 5 Days .

MI7 opened on discount tuesday with significant early shows on Sunday and Monday. So I dont think they are comparable.

Ok and Ninja Turtles is too low . Maybe the last two days could be compare at IO2 but DM4 has discount Tuesday the last final day to boost so it's really complicated to compare . Even with Mario which had excellent jump in the finish line ( and incredible boost for the Friday ) and i don't know if DM4 could replicate this.

Just curious how are horizon sales looking today compared to yesterday?

My concern comparing even with Inside Out2 is that Inside Out 2 had significant Previews also soaking up the demand while DM4 is almost all OD(it has 75 midnight shows where I am tracking and its not a midnight movie for sure). That is why I am comping with Mario which had similar release and once you hit the release day the fact that Mario was more fan driven should not matter.

Honestly pretty damn good in Canton. They only gave it four PM showtimes but the 2, 6, and 7 bookings are filled up pretty good

@AniNate yea it’s the same near me there’s only about 3 showtimes though

I count roughly 60-80 tickets sold for each of those showings.

 

Did overestimate Bikeriders based on that theater so not sure if I should read much into it. Valley View and Cuyahoga Falls have each sold roughly 50 total for the rest of the day.

Really solid final day.  Should clear 6m pretty easily and honestly 7m wouldn't surprise me.   At the risk of causing overreactions and disappointment, I'll go with 6.8m for my prediction

Its have not a typical release. i see early shows across multiple days depending on the TC. No previews and its releasing next friday. Early numbers are at least way stronger than what we are seeing for say Horizon this week 🙂 Not sure what to expect @charlie Jatinder

Gonna be curious to see if there is a bump today/tomorrow for DP3 given the increased promotion (new poster yesterday, new teaser today).  Might not be that much new footage on the teaser, but what there was is the type that should drive discussion/interest.

Have poster/teaser ever had significant bumps. I think there is one more trailer for this right. We haven't had any that says its the "final trailer". That should help with the bump. Then the cast/crew will go on late night talk shows and that should help up the ante. Reviews/Reactions are too late. That is just final few days which anyway would be at high levels.

3 days plus several  hours(previews just wrapped up). Fan shows are at (26483/31032 447730.77 165 shows) which is part of previews above. I will call it out as its just MTC1. FYI DS2 started its sales on this equivalent day and already sold 231K 🙂
