Teenager Owen is just trying to make it through life in the suburbs when his classmate introduces him to a mysterious late-night TV show — a vision of a supernatural world beneath their own. In the pale glow of the television, Owen’s view of reality begins to crack.

This sounds like a movie I'll be keeping my eyes on. Intriguing premise.

 

Horror movies these days don't terrify me, so it takes a good hook to get me to see them in theaters anymore.

I really liked her first film, We're All Going to the World's Fair. But if this has a similar vibe to that movie i'll predict it to gross about $800k.

This sounds interesting, as does Presence. Some promising films at Sundance this year. 
 

Promising from a quality stand point of course, very few sound like they have mainstream potential.

I seen a clip of the director doing the Criterion Collection spot and she said “Pirate Bay all the way” which has pissed me off. Moron.

Like with Donnie Darko, don’t really relate to this movies portrayal of American suburbia but did find this to be so much more horrifying and this might have my favorite title drop in a few years (partially biased because they used a cover of one of my favorite songs ever)

No one has bought this for UK release yet. Bummer.

Well, this was a painful watch and not in a "good" cathartic way. Just a chore to sit through. 

It's funny/sad how critics loathed Gosling's Lost river, but went crazy over this mess of a movie.
