OS increased 2.55M from estimates!!!

Insanity. It increased slightly from estimates domestically and did better internationally. This has happened almost every weekend.

my prediction for OS is 985-990m. My pessimistic prediction is 880m and my optimistic prediction is 1.1b. So about 1.75b WW is the HIGH END. Very optimistic and very unlikely to happen. Low end is 1.53b. Middle is 1.64b. Assuming 650m domestic. Thoughts?

I don't believe Asia isn't most emotional.

I don't believe either considering we have the most crazy nationalists of this world.

$600-620M+ seems like good numbers for it. If it gets the Toy Story-sequel reception, then it could go higher. And as I noticed, Pixar interestingly enough never had a movie in their film lineup that made over $700M+ OS or higher than that. Since the highest OS gross for a Pixar film is Toy Story 3 with $652M OS which was 14 years ago, and that still has the record for the highest OS gross of any Pixar film. Not even the massively hyped and beloved Incredibles 2 could top it, despite that film’s robust $608M DOM.

However, if Inside Out 2 is treated as the grand return of the beloved and hugely successful Pixar (and I love the first film), then I have no exact idea how much higher it can go.

Though to be safe, I’ll go with over $600M+ OS for now.

Well, it even got above my predictions and has indeed broken TS3’s record of the highest OS numbers for a Pixar film. And it’s likely to go egen higher.👩🏻‍💼

In Greece, apart from becoming the most-attended animated film of all time, 'Inside Out 2' has also become the most-attended film of the post-pandemic period, beating 'Spider-Man: No Way Home'. An unbelievable result. More in the latest weekend report.
