Oscar winner Christopher Nolan as rewarded by Steven Spielberg

Second I saw Spielberg was listed as one of the presenters I assumed this was happening.

I can't believe it took so long for Nolan to get an Oscar. At one point I was convinced the committee hated him.

Dude should have taken some credit for the 10 best pic nominee rule.

Glad the artsy fartsy crap poor things finally got put in the background.

I thought Poor Things wasn't very good but wouldn't call it artsy fartsy. A relatively populist film for the type of film it is honestly.

I'd love to show an actual art film to any of the people who call the yearly Oscar Best Picture nominees "arty." Poor Things (which I didn't like) looks like Avengers: Endgame compared to a huge swath of acclaimed independent, foreign, and arthouse cinema.

I keep forgetting I even saw Poor Things and I’m a pretty huge fan of Yorgos normally. Disappointing to see Gladstone lose nonetheless, who I thought was significantly stronger
