Infinity War did 257 with 39 previews.

In Hindsight, its previews should've been more but eh.

I think they underestimated demand so didn't allocate enough showings but it had a pretty good w/e mutli for such huge previews (6.59) with the spillover.

Twisters : 6,5M (-35%) Scared Scooby Doo GIF by Boomerang Official

Could still do $35m+ - Dropping around 55% after losing PLFs, showtimes and getting smaller theaters in the face of a $200m opener not too bad and it has August days.

Not likely.

Alien is likely to overtake it in weekend 4

Then after Alien’s second weekend, D & W will overtake it back the Top Spot

As expected, it got destroyed by Deadpool. And now that the behemoth is looking to be a crowdpleaser, it has little chance of recovery in future weeks. That's on Universal for the awful release date. It is what it is. I'm glad it at least had a great opening weekend.

yeah people didn’t understand. Even if the audience was 100% the same it was still going to lose a shit ton of screens and showtimes

It should've been the kick off to summer movie. . .

Twisters has been forced into smaller theaters this weekend as a result of Deadpool's dominance over theater screens so whatever it makes this weekend it will do so under the best conditions it can. It's also such a Big Screen movie that I imagine virtually everyone who did want to see it on the biggest screens possible did so last weekend and during this week.

is there any r rated movie with an A+ cinemascore?

Not that uncommon. Schindler's list, American sniper, Dances with Wolves, Terminator 2, Slumdog Millionaire, passion of the christ, Girls Trip, Lone survivor. the king speech
