Acceptable entry into the franchise and Val Kilmer I thought did an admirable job, especially following Michael Keaton. My biggest quibble is it was a test run of what would become Batman & Robin, just with better writing (which says a lot about B&R). Nicole Kidman was a fun love interest and Chris O'Donnell wasn't annoying, so there's that. I didn't mind this like some fans but it's a far cry from Batman '89.

I used to like this film, but watching it again it's kind of crappy and should have served as a warning for Batman and Robin. I still think Kilmer did a good job as Bruce/Batman. And Jim Carrey was good too. But Chris O'Donnell was just as bad in this as he was in Batman and Rboin. And Tommy Lee Jones was embarassingly bad. Plus the story doesn't hold together well. C-

I do enjoy this movie probably more than I should. I do agree that Val Kilmer was pretty good, mostly as Bruce more so then Batman. Jim Carrey is definitely one of the best parts of the movie.

I gave it a B. Not the best, but it's sure entertaining. Love, love Jim Carrey, and Val Kilmer did awesome as Batman, and I liked Chris O Donnel, he did alright.

Batman Forever - 2.0

Actors: Val Kilmer is inexpressive and Chris O'Donnell is one of the worst kinds of stereotypes EVER.

Villains: Overacting and really annoying, like the Nicholson'S Joker.

Story: Too campy for my taste.

Visuals: Is this a Gay Parade?

Soundtrack: Made ​​for circus only.

What's Worth in Batman Forever?

- Some action sequences

- Relationship of Bruce/Batman with Dr. Chase

What really impressed me was the Flashback origin, very well done.

A huge guilty pleasure. The tone is inconsistent and the cuts made from Schumaker's original version detract from the film's effectiveness, but it's still cheesy fun - something it does infinitely better than its successor.B/B-
