I just started reading the TA vs. TASM vs. TDKR thread that was started by BKB. I never read it before. The epicness of some of the posts in that thread is great. When does BKB's ban end?

Oh yeah. The early pages of just about any TA prediction thread are comedy gold.

Who knows?...Perhaps it takes one midnless popcorn flick to defeat another mindless popcorn flick?Gotta till Transformers 4 then. It is set to blow away Avengers internationally. ;)

And then TA2 will blow away T4. Get over it already.

That I agree with. Some guys were predicting the TA would end up below Iron Man.In my mind, I was like really?

There was one person in particular who was just hilarious with the predictions. Im not gonna name and shame, but her OW prediction was surpassed on OD. Hell, her prediction for the entire run was exceeded on its first Sunday. Edited by Orestes

Define "inferior film". What does that mean? "A movie I don't like as much" is the only answer. But TDKR was never going to beat what The Avengers did this year and it didn't even make sense to think it would match TDK's performance.

Don't waste your time. He hasn't even seen the movie.

Avengers sequel will likely drop. This is what usually happens to generic, mediocre flicks. Not many people will remember TA to give a **** about the sequel.

Don't you have to see a movie first before making criticisms? You're just hating just to be hating. You don't even have a valid opinion. Give it a rest.

You still havent learned, have you? Given how hopelessly, hilariously wrong all your TA predictions were, you'd think that by now, at long last, you would have figured it out. But no, thanks to you, TA2 is gonna increase.DizMar should at least send you a fruit basket or something. Edited by Orestes

Yesterday Impact was wondering if there were any numbers showing Friday to Saturday drops without midnights. I was able to get these figures by using the midnight archive thread along with BoxofficeMojo daily stats. Avengers sequel will likely drop. This is what usually happens to generic, mediocre flicks. Not many people will remember TA to give a **** about the sequel.

I'm not sure what country you're from, but everyone in the U.S. will remember TA, since Disney is building theme park attractions for Disneyland based on TA. Then, there's the new TA based cartoon that's coming on DisneyXD. Then, there's the fact that TA is going to win the year and has broken many records. But, if you live in a country without Disney theme parks, DisneyXD, and where TA didn't break records....then you might be right. For us people in the U.S., we will never forget TA.
