The Man From U.N.C.L.E. | August 14, 2015 | Comic-Con Trailer on Page 21!

The US Premiere is tomorrow, most likely that is also the embargo date. It has been playing all over the US the past few weeks (I had passes for last Wednesday), there are enough public reviews on RT and Letterboxd if you are interested. Based on audience reaction so far, I would say RT will be somewhere in the 60s. The early consensus is that it is fun but not especially a memorable movie.

I was wrong, the US premiere is right now

WB usually embargoes their movies until the week of release. It happened with Mad Max earlier this summer, for example.

Mad Max had a late embargo because it was premiering at Cannes and they contractually couldn't have reviews out before then.  Earlier reviews would have probably built even more buzz for the opening.

that was because of Cannes though

And Jurassic World?  (Personal feelings aside, it was well received generally)

I don't expect an actual stinker. A Sherlock Holmes type reception isn't unreasonable. Plenty of good films hold their embargoes until week of release.
