No, it really isn't.   One of the bigger problems in Hollywood the last 10 to 20 years is rushing out films before they are ready.  Not gonna tag Tele (as I doubt he wants to be tagged into this thread), but he is right on when he complains about films locking in dates years in advance.   The more I think about it and the more I observe substandard or mediocre films/shows that needed more baking in the oven the more I am convinced that Hollywood's obsession with locking in ca

How much money do you guys think Warner Bros is willing to sell DC for?

 

Probably a couple billion. Batman and Superman are the only properties they care about though, and Batman makes them a fortune regardless.

 

They just want us DC fans to suffer.

DC is too valuable for Warner Bros to sell, even if they're not making movies, the merchandise money from just Batman and Superman alone is probably at least a $1bn. Disney bought Marvel for $4bn, think DC would be the same if not more. 

 

Warner Bros has loads of IP like Looney Tunes, the Hanna Barbera cartoons like Scooby Doo, The Flintstones etc MGM cartoons like Tom and Jerry and the Lorimar library which is stuff like Dallas, Thundercats etc In terms of IP, they're on par with Disney.

Scooby Doo, Flintstones, DC, MGM cartoons and the rest don't equal SW, Marvel, Pixar, Pirates by a long shot.
