This doesn't compute.  I felt Prisoners was one of the best ten films of the year.

I feel like the performances hold Prisoners together. But man oh man does it have problems.

Prisoners has a pretty garbage script that Villeneuve alternately elevates and dooms even further by treating it as The Most Serious Thing Ever. It's just portentuous and stupid, though great-looking and solidly acted.
