Whether or not the drops are bad in China (still disappointed with TFA's gross over there, what the hell), it'll still double what MOS did, that's growth, and yeah even with Batman.

That's growth born out of the growing Chinese market, and not indicative of the growth of the movie franchise there. The drops would indicate that.

Well, of course, the market has become 2.5 to 3 times bigger since then.

 

Considering their respective market conditions, it's not actually doing as well as MoS in China.

HLW films only can be shown for a month.For the time being,there is no news to show Zoo could have an extension

30 days is ends an sat April 2. Pre-sales end on that day on Maoyan. It'll be a big day if they don't extend. 007 closed on a Saturday but gross was tiny. Interesting to see what happens. 

Olive said they wouldn't extend because Disney has release 2 weeks later.

OD actual adjusted again to 120m. 20% bump for saturday.

Pre-sales at 30m down 45% yesterday morning. I don't think it will be down 45% though. The PS multi expands after it opens. Yesterday was only 2.9x 00:00 PS. Very low. 

Last night PS was 25m. I assume multi should be close to 4. 

It ran at 8m per hour average. From 11am -10am. 

Will need to run at 6m per hour today to get to 100m.

Weekend will be 364-374  $56-57m

 

Zoo was down close 60% w/o/w on Fri. 54% yesterday. Could be just 50%. W/o an extension the weekdays could hold very well as the demand will show up to squeeze it in. Could still get to 1.4b/215m if it has enough screen on fri/sat. PS not looking like much for the new releases.
