I don't understand. Only 87.09 mln yuan Sunday on entgroup with 26% drop and 298.49 mln total.

They were very close on Friday and Saturday but have much lower Sunday.

Using X-Men: Days of Future Past as a China Opener (OW) comparison, here's my prediction for Hobbit: BoTFA:

 

21 (ranking)    X-Men: Days of Future Past    $39,350,000    33.8% (percentage of Total): $116,490,000

 

11 (ranking)    The Hobbit: BoTFA    $49,850,000    39.1% (percentage of Total): $127,500,000

It will make about 8x its OD, for other hollywood movie they usually make 10x or slightly more.

heh why Hobbit couldn't be 'other hollywood movie' and with 10x OD we have 930M (148,7M $) aawww that would be awesome

The next big China release for Hollywood is The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1on February 8. This coming weekend, two local animated pics will go head-to-head when Boonie Bears: Mystical Winter faces off with Pleasant Goat And Big Big Wolf: Amazing Pleasant Goat. Reality TV spinoff Running Man also bows there on the 30th.
