A very visually appealing film and a spirtual journey.

Well made and well done by all involved

A-

"I liked the film, but the whole God thing didn't go anywhere. I'm really not sure what it's doing in the movie."

Its because your the opposite of a religious nut...

An oblivious fool

God, faith and belief does not only exist in religion...

The movie was about faith and belief.

I think this all added to the stoyrline of the film a lot or else it would have been a big journey through the sea.

Life of Pi is stunningly beautiful with a heart pounding story of survival and belief that is intense while at the same time able to capture the emotion this kid and tiger went thru. For Suraj Sharma's first acting job he did a hell of a job and the people who did the music deserve an Oscar (I forgot who won for Best Score at the Oscars this year). This is a movie I wish I saw in theaters because it would of looked even better.

Grade: A-

One of the most boring films of all time only just saved by the visual effects. IT IS SO BORING. D

lol. You're too young for the subject matter. :)

I thought it was a beautiful, moving, intimate story about faith, growth and companionship in the unlikeliest of places and unlikeliest of creatures. And the God/faith themes were not as heavy-handed and in your face as I thought they would be, which was a pleasant surprise.

That being said, I didn't find the movie astounding either. It didn't blow me away. Maybe watching it on a 15-inch monitor had something to do with that.

All in all, I give Life of Pi B+.
