fishstick
So BD2 $17.2 and SF $17.0 could end up switching places? SF looks poised to overate at some point next week unless it loses too much screens or something.
baumer
I don't think the official estimate for BD2 will be 17.2, it will be over 17.5, imo.

baumer
If the estimates are correct, then it overtook it on Sunday; 4.7m vs 4.3m.Those are Nikki's estimates. If it did 5.6 on Friday, and 7.7 on Saturday (going by RTH's 630AM EST update) then give it a 42% drop and you have 4.5 Sunday...for a weekend of 17.8....that is where I think it will land.God, what is going to happen next week?I think we'll have the same top 3, but in a different order. Sky BD2 and then Linc.

BK007
https://twitter.com/...255120550313984 KillingThemSoftly DOA w/ $7M opening wknd. Worst live-action wide opening for BradPitt in 18 years. At least it increased on Saturday, even if it was minimally. With an F score, you'd think it have dropped already.
wildphantom
An F score for KTS is a joke. This opened in the UK months ago, and despite being a pretty cynical film it's a really good piece of cinema. How anyone could come out of it and give it an F just beggars belief. What were these people expecting?!?! Sad case of the small audience it did attract being the wrong audience for it. Why didn't those that see the serious/experimental arthouse fare turn up?The dialogue alone makes it unmissable.
