Watching movies on your phone- the worst way to enjoy a film?

I got the Netflix app on my iPhone, and decided to try watching a movie with it. I gave up after 10 minutes, and thought "How in the world do people watcg full length movies this way?" It stinks! I already have an issue with watching movies on a laptop, so to me seeing films on your phone has to be the worst way of doing it, with the screen being so damn small.What say you?

I use it mostly to watch 30 minute tv shows in bed while I fall asleep. And I got both Hulu and Netflix so I can watch most current and past tv shows.

I once watched Good Will Hunting and Zoolander on one of the first iPod models that played video. It was an awkward viewing experience with such a small screen, but neither movie demands to be seen on a huge display. Nevertheless, I wouldn't do it again.

 

I have no problems with watching a movie on my laptop, but I draw the line at a phone.

I've watched stuff like 12 Angry Men or Guess Who's Coming To Dinner on my phone. I think it's fine for those kind of films. I probably wouldn't dare watching some epic like Lawrence of Arabia on my phone though.

If you're going to watch films on your phone you should get a bigger one than the iphone, but it will never be optimal.

I don't mind watching Netflix streaming videos on my iPhone.  If what you're watching is engrossing you can forget how small the screen is.

I have used Netflix at work once or twice, it's not ideal but if you're not too invested in the movie it's fine.

I have used my phone once to check out what it is like.  I have a decent size screen, but I really can't stand to watch movies on anything other than a tv.  I have used a phone, an Ipod classic, a laptop, and all are pretty bad.  But I make due if I am forced to do so
