BiffMan
Haven't seen the others yet to compare, I thought The Last Stand was perfectly enjoyable. Arnold's age worked in favor of the story (retired sherrif) and it was really well directed. I do have a free ticket to go see DH5, so hard to pass that up. efialtes76
I thought Last Stand was shit...Bullet was fine, but not much better than DH5 imo and Parker was fun....in fact the only one of the four I really hated was TLS. You gave The Last Stand 6/10. TLS is much, much better than a pile of crap like DH5!

forg
Safe Haven's budget is just $28 million, will definitely be profitable. Escape From Planet Earth's budget of $40 million is also low and it would likely be profitable especially that there are still no major competition for the family audience until Oz comes in. Very good run for Mama and Parental Guidance

vc2002
The AVENGERS weekend box office is really to blame for the folks who thought TDKR would make 600M or even challenge it for its weekend crown and it wasn't going to happen, shooting or no shooting... Nope. The talk about 200m OW for TDKR started long before TA's release.

junkshop36
For me, DH5 was a decent action movie at best; but a terrible Die Hard movie. Didn't see BTTH or Parker( though someone who did told me not to bother with it ) but I saw TLS and I thought it very entertaining and fun. Arnold played the role exactly as he was supposed to; as an older nearing retirement sheriff of a small town where nothing happens. He wasn't supposed to be playing some muscled up unstoppable he-man. He didn't have to get himself into super roided up shape to play the role. But don't worry, he's gotten himself back into shape. I saw a picture of him from some movie he's filming called 10, I think, and he looked pretty ripped.
Gopher
Die Hard will end up in the 70s, approximately half of Live Free's admissions. Yowza.

I was 13 when I went to see it in theaters and I was blown away. Feels good to say the truth sometimes.

MrPink
So much I don't even know where to begin with In all seriousness, if you have not watched a movie called Hardboiled, watch it, and prepare for your mind to be destroyed. On a side note, I think this is the first time BKB has ever liked a post of mine. I feel so loved.
