Very sad news, and now D&D have a tough choice to make. Good luck to them.

That said, this confirms that not all the named characters cast for season 5 were on the leaked casting sheet. So there's that.  Plus the inside got book lists Euron as the only brother of balon so pretty sure we will get Euron but no Victarion or Aeron

The loss of victarion and Arianne is bad but we kept crow's eye now all we need is YG and griff ( which i have confidence in based on the mentions of the golden company last season and the roundabout method of referring to connington  the littlefinger varys background video)

Are book readers gonna watch the new season? I'm a bit scared that they might delve into Winds of Winter things. They did the scene with the Darth Maul White Walker, running out story lines for some characters

eg. Sansa

could cut characters that may not have a important part in the series

eg. Jeyne Westerling

Since they do know post ADWD info.
