4815162342
If they don't mess around with it too much, Season 4 should be the best season of the show. The King's Landing plotline will be absolute dynamite gold.
CoolioD1
Emmy ballots were released yesterday and if anyone cares (probably nobody, but I'm obsessed w/ this kind of thing) HBO submitted Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Peter Dinklage and Kit Harrington for supporting actor. Emilia Clarke, Michelle Fairley and Lena Headey for supporting actress. Ciaran Hinds and Diana Rigg for guest acting. Rains of Castamere for writing and about half their episodes for directing.
AniNate
Is there an age/submission limit? I think Maisie Williams deserves some recognition.
4815162342
Harrington's kind of a ridiculous submission since they've been underplaying and underwriting Jon since Season 2 began. Annoyed by the lack of submissions for Charles Dance and Gwendoline Christie.
CoolioD1
People can submit themselves if they really give a shit. Natalie Dormer submitted herself for supporting actress but I doubt she has any kind of shot. @tribefan no Maisie Williams would've been eligible for a submission. I think she was submitted last year when HBO basically submitted every actor and every episode for writing/directing consideration. This year it seems they're trying to be more strategic to see if it gets them more nods.

CoolioD1
I'm hoping the girl for orphan black gets nominated I doubt it, which is a shame cos just from the few episodes I've watched she prbly deserves to win, but it's a very small genre show on a smallish network.
acsc1312
I hope fairley gets a nom. She was great this season, especially the RW
Cedarpoint1111
Great episode and a hopeful ending is exactly what the doctor ordered. Few things: 1.) I am very surprised this didn't reach series high in viewers.2.) Why isn't Arya being submitted for a nom? She is beyond talented and at least deserves a chance to be nominated.3.) The most emotional scene this episode was Ingritte shorting Jon. We all know if she wanted to kill him she could have. I felt her pain and I really hope we see her again next season. 4815162342
Ygritte, not Ingritte. And we will see her next season for sure. That's certainly not a wrapped subplot yet!
Michael Gary Scott
Arya and Maise Williams is the best

Spidey Freak
Emmy ballots were released yesterday and if anyone cares (probably nobody, but I'm obsessed w/ this kind of thing) HBO submitted Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Peter Dinklage and Kit Harrington for supporting actor. Interesting that even Emilia Clarke is classified as "supporting". Who in HBO's opinion is a LEAD actor/actress for GoT? No one?
CoolioD1
They submitted Sean Bean as lead for season 1 but ever since then everyone else has gone supporting.
4815162342
If they didn't submit Dinklage for lead in Season 2 when he was clearly the dominant character of the season, I can't see them submitting anyone for lead until maybe they have a season filled with Book 5/6 material. Maybe, but probably not.
Michael Gary Scott
Yeah I idk how anyone could be classified as lead this season.

4815162342
Now comes the slow wait for casting information. We'll probably start hearing concrete stuff early July
Lordmandeep
Thing about the show it really mixes grand epic fantasy and realism and cynicism.Tywin is right. If Robb was killed in battle we would far less shocked and disgusted with his death. The fact that robb had the moral highground he still lost and had no glory is a reflection of cynical realism displayed in the game of thrones. It is appealing as it strongly reflects the current way of the world.
The Creator
Jaime makes sense though since otherwise he'd be wandering around the Riverlands and Crownlands for a handful more episodes into Season 4. It wouldn't have flowed well. I wanted to see a scene though where he and Brienne learn that Catelyn's dead and Sansa's married. The Dany scene was fine, could have been executed better, but it's not final scene material compared to the Chekov's Gun that should have been the final scene but didn't appear at all in the show. So then that is to say Catelyn's zombie self is not shown in the episode? Disappointing if true.
