I'm sure it's been mentioned somewhere, but I am too lazy to look for it. Despite it being on Netflix, I would still buy the blu-ray release to support it. It’s highly unusual for an ensemble show to shoot characters separately — but then again, there’s not much that is usual about this season of Arrested Development. Each episode is centered on a separate character, and the only character that appears in every episode is Jason Bateman’s Michael Bluth. This does remind me of Archer though, in that the ensemble works beautifully even if they never record their lines in the same place.
