That's a monstrous drop.  BvS didn't even fall that much.

Are we looking at a 70% drop this weekend?

Assuming it stays flat today (lets take 5M to make calculations easier), and increases based on best case scenario, the weekend will be

Friday 12M

Saturday 15M

Sunday 9M for a 36M weekend. This is best case increases and drops. I can see it going below 34M if the Friday increase is lower.

Might be a good idea to release the next couple Fast films in July to advantage of summer days

Might not be a bad idea, although it's hard imagining these movies appealing much to anyone beyond the core audience that has shown up for all of them this late in the game.

I have a feeling discount Tuesday exaggerates the drop but still a nasty fall nonetheless.  Also, BvS had the luxury of having an early Easter so having more kids out could have softened up it's drop.  I wouldn't be surprised with around a 65%+ drop this weekend though.

holy shit, just saw it! Wow, WOM must be bad or people just don't care after F7? I mean, it's stupid to say people don't care about almost 100M opener that's gonna make over 1b worldwide, but that drop is colossal.

Wow all the movies had big drops pretty much.

Tues are always inflated because of Cheap Tues tickets.  Ergo there are always big Wed drops.  Since Monday was a partial holiday it was also inflated so Tues didn't look as big in comparison even though it was it's usually inflated Tuesday self.

It just fell 40% on Wednesday which is way higher than what Batman versus Superman show. So going by that movie's increases it drops 70% this weekend.

BvS's first week also coincided with rotating Spring Break which softened the daily drops a bit and gave it just a 94% Friday increase.
