  1. That would mean RO would become the least attended year-end #1 movie since at least 1966, according to inside.kino! I hope RO can manage to reach a higher attendance number.
  2. Well @trifle, you're doing a better job promoting this movie than Sony's marketing department, that's for sure!
  3. Much better drop for Dory (37%) Good for FB, but I really hoped for a 1M start, I dunno if the WOM is good enough for a 3M total, but it's certainly possible. Hartmann's with a 17% decrease, so I guess a it's going to finish closer to 4M adm, 6M adm seem out of reach at this point.
  4. Wow, I didn't expect that at all. HP8 was my greatest cinema experience, tied with TFA midnight premiere. The hype felt so real in my immediate local area, crazy to think about that it had the lowest opening and a total of just 6mil admissions
  5. Hopefully either FB or RO can achieve over 4Mio adm, otherwise, I fear, Willkommen bei den Hartmanns will become the #1 movie this year
  6. Honestly, I just want Moana to beat the shit out of this movie. Does it make me a bad person?
  7. http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/incredibles-2-moves-up-summer-2018-toy-story-4-pushed-2019-941475 The Incredibles 2 will now hit theaters on June 15, 2018 while Toy Story 4 will hit theaters on June 21, 2019
  8. Is the $87,5M TFA made on its first Saturday the daily OS record?
  9. Japan has grossed $65.9M, followed by the UK at $55M and China at $38.4M. The latter figure doesn’t compare to the outsize success of some other Disney animation and live-action films, but is the best Middle Kingdom score for a Pixar movie ever as audiences become more familiar with the brand. Rounding out the Top 10 international markets are: Australia ($36.2M), Brazil ($34.5M), Mexico ($24.8M), France ($21.8M), Spain ($20M), Germany ($19.4M) and Korea ($18.2M). Finding Dory stands as the No. 3 grossing movie globally of 2016. http://deadline.com/2016/10/finding-dory-crosses-one-billion-dollars-worldwide-box-office-disney-pixar-1201833579/
  10. I hope FB and RO deliver, otherwise we'll have the first year without a single movie opening above the 1M adm mark since '94!
  11. FB has a shot at 5mil total, the fantasy fans are still out here and never underestimate them (look at Hobbit 2 &3) I'm not so sure about RO anymore, it could finish with less than half of TFA's audience. I'm blaming the lack of connection to the original trilogy. On Friday they showed ANH on TV and it didn't exactly do a stellar job.
  12. It looks kinda generic and the trailer spoils way too much, also I'm pretty sure I can guess the ending already. Out of the big 3, it seems to become the lowest grossing holiday release this year. Rogue One $500M Sing $300M Passengers $210M
  13. Andrew Garfield - The Social Network Ralph Fiennes - Grand Budapest Hotel Oscar Isaac - Inside Llewyn Davis some of the more recent snubs
  14. I'm so glad these fucking atrocious german comedies like "Männertag" are bombing. Hopefully, people realize, step by step, the repetitive nature of movies like this one.
  15. http://www.insidekino.de/Y/YDuellHarryVsHarry.htm#DUELL_DEUTSCHLAND_ That's the best chart you can find, I guess. HP was really a fucking beast in my country!
