The criticism DH2 got came from its final 20 minutes. Some loved it, some thought it was a significant decrease in quality from the rest of the film. 

 

I know you hate the last 20 minutes, but you still gave it a 7.5/10 because, OVERALL, you still enjoyed it.

it's not so much to do with my opinion as i'm just shocked that critics gushed so much. 8.8 is a ludicrously high average on RT.

thread bump. Despicable me 2 and Monsters uni contenders are under 80% RT and well under 7/10 and out of contention as StiD is 87% and a healthy 7.5/10.

 

before midnight will win but not a tentpole

 

elysium coming in 1 month $100m budget.

 

now a pitch battle between STiD and elysium
