The Stingray
MoS lost 1K theaters every weekend after the 2nd... That's crazy. How come?
Mojoguy
That's crazy. How come? Too many movies coming out. WB should have put MoS in July, instead putting flop Pacific Rim there.
CJohn
MoS lost 1K theaters every weekend after the 2nd... Competition was crazy this Summer. We created this madness. There was a 150M movie from the first weekend of May until next weekend (ok, the June 6 weekend had no 150M weekend, I remember). Plus comedies and animation movies, and other movies like Red 2, NYSM and The Purge!
The Stingray
Guess the suckage sort of set in and folks just saw it, shrugged and moved on.. Yeah, the movie did suck. Its actually the worst movie I have seen all year.
John Marston
MoS lost 1K theaters every weekend after the 2nd... not to mention lost IMAX faster than WBs recent July releases to a flop movie.
A Marvel Fanboy
WB really should have put MoS at this weekend ... 300M would be easy.

Gopher
How a 16-year-old can watch The King's Speech is beyond me.I saw it when I was 16 (cause it came out when I was 16..). Good film, not anywhere close to The Social Network though.
DAR
I'd have watched it. When I was 10 or 11 I remember watching the Mission

FTF
Holy shit at how terrible RIPD did. I mean we all knew it was going to bomb, but $12.7m ow is just so, so bad...and less than $20m ow ww is unbelievable. And with Turbo's crap opening too, RR is the new box office bomb king. kitik
Haven't seen that one. Though King himself said that he was "coked out" throughout the shoot, and didn't know what he was doing.
