grey ghost
The Wolverine's percentage drop from Origins is what could've happened to IM3 without Avengers.
grey ghost
What are the chances The Wolverine gets a sequel considering the lower budget? Edited July 27, 2013 by grey ghost
Elessar
Yea, maybe in your world. But all three of those films pale in comparrson to MOS. IM2? Are you kidding me? MoS was the best superhero movie this year, easily. Wolverine is number 2.

Founder / Operator Shawn Robbins Posted July 27, 2013 Founder / Operator Share Posted July 27, 2013 What are the chances The Wolverine gets a sequel considering the lower budget? If DoFP takes off next year, I'm not sure we'll get anymore standalone Wolverine sequels. Maybe one...but Jackman, as iconic as he is, can't play him forever. He'll already be leading a film for the sixth time next year...

Poseidon
So drops for the weekend look like: The Conjuring: -42% Despicable me: -36% Pacific Rim: -53% Great for the first two, not so much for PR.
utesfanami
I really liked Wolverine. Right up there with MOS and Trek as my favorites this year. Expected to have a drop OW from Origins because that movie was so awful but I expect pretty good legs for an XMEN film.
Captain Craig
What are the chances The Wolverine gets a sequel considering the lower budget? Decent I'd say. Especially if DOFP could act like TA and swing the pendulum of interest back up. Much the same manner Origins swung it the downward direction. The DOFP affect?? druv10
TC: 7.36 PR: 2.175 MoS: 210k Even better for TC while MOS dropped from Thursday. 290M is looking unlikely now for MOS.
Gopher
Pretty lame weekend outside of The Conjuring's hold. Wolverine's going to be the lowest grossing X-Men film. Don't see how it tops First Class at this point.
Captain Craig
$290m, kinda of a win/lose story for MoS and highlights why DC wants to rush Batman back into things.

Manu Delpech
Hum, what is all the fuss about? It's a good number, considering that Origins was a turd and nearly ruined the franchise. The 80 M tracking figure was ridiculous, it was always aiming at 60-70 M, the budget is super low, it's going to be big overseas, why so negative?
