SchumacherFTW
Ok, so do we have a blu ray 3D release date yet? The UK has it down for January 14th, so expect it to be around then.
The Toymaker
We understand that as a fact JD was more successful than Dredd, you have drilled this into our skulls so god damn much, but what is wrong with us expressing that we prefer Dredd as a film?Nothing. Go ahead.

Captain Craig
This has already made its way to the bargain theaters my way. Lasted only a month in the "main" cinemas here.
The Toymaker
:rofl:Within 5 weeks, it was almost gone from cinemas, in every market.
Phil in the Blank
This film is fantastic. Here's hoping it lived up to the financial expectations....
The Toymaker
It obviously didn't live up to any financial expectations. With a budget of $50m (plus x amount in marketing and prints), the studio would not have been expecting a WW grand total of $23m.

lab276
Judge Dredd dropped 59.5% in its second week? It couldn't even get a 3x multiplier In 1995? :rofl:See, it works both ways.
The Toymaker
Yeah, it did badly. Really disappointing.^That, however, does not work both ways. Only I can accept that a movie I love did terribly. All of you cannot do that.

The Toymaker
It only opened #1 in one market; the UK. Not such a surprise. Out of ALL of the other overseas debuts, the highest that Dredd 3D could open was #2 (Hong Kong, Thailand, UAE and Russia). All other markets opened #3 or lower, with most opening around #5 - #9, and falling off the charts within 4 weeks.
