narniadis
Good number - like expected this should mirror Hotel T quite a bit. Expecting a great Saturday bump
AdamKendall
Expected for Rush & Don Jon. Seems a slight bit low for Cloudy 2.
TLK
Friday Box Office: ‘Cloudy With Meatballs 2′ Beefs Up For $12M And $44M Weekend, ‘Rush’ Expands For $4M and $12M, ‘Baggage Claim’ And ‘Don Jon’ $3M/$9M
Goffe
Kinda poor for Cloudy 2, I was hoping 13m-14m
Jonwo
$11m is good for Cloudy, I imagine it'll have a good bump on Saturday. Nikki's predicting a $44m weekend which would mean it takes HT's record for highest September opening. Sony has secured that slot for the next four years with Equalizer in 2014, Hotel Transylvania 2 in 2015 and two untitled animated films in 2016 and 2017. Fancyarcher
For anyone disappointed about the Cloudy 2 numbers, remember this is the same person who said that Insidious 2 was going to make less than 40 million. Numbers could higher or lower once Friday’s actuals come in. Not surprised at all with the Rush estimate. That soft limited release opening weekend was a telling sign. Rush was always going to be hard sell in the US, luckily its doing good business elsewhere.
forg
The Saturday number is to watch for Cloudy. I wonder how On The Job did in limited release. I hope many Filipinos in US & Canada supported it
RobinHood26
really hoping Don Jon can clear 10m.

Good for it I guess. Not really interested in any of the movies this weekend to be honest, but Rush still needs to make a decent amount at the North American box office (it is an American production after all). Lol at the club that claimed Baggage Claim could make 10 million (it's possible, but not very likely). Dementeleus
RUSH only cost $38m. It'll be fine.
Impact
Thing with Cloudy 2 is that its a kids film released during school time, it wont do that well today.Don Jon should be no surprise-its not an easy sale (not that many women will want to see a plot like that) Rush-tough sale, even with Thor! tupek
Not bad for Cloudy. At least I don't think it be another Happy Feet 2.

Fancyarcher
RUSH only cost $38m. It'll be fine. If it somehow manages great legs, and gets to 40 million then yes. It’s already doing decent business overseas.
forg
I wish fishnets was here Chris showed a lot of skin in Rush, I wonder what she thinks about it Rush is a good film and I'm no racing fan at all but it really got me engaged
