I don't get it either. It's going to nearly double Thor 1 and somehow that's not good enough.

When you make huge predictions you will end up disappointed a lot, but that says more about your predictions than it does about the films performance.

I used to think 350 million was doable, but I'm more thinking it'll do around 310 million.

I was all into predicting superhero movies this past summer, and I put down $275-$350 million overseas for The Winter Soldier (and $200-260 for North America).  But for the sake of giving a single hard number I'll go with $325 million.

But we still don't know where it'll land. It can still leg it's way to 500M OS which would be nearly 100% increase from Thor 1. That would phenomenal for Thor 2.

LOL, there is no conceivable ways it'll do better OS than Thor 2. Especially with that title character and the release date. 350M OS is max and that's being generous IMO.

It is kinda hard to predict this because the first CA: FA doesn't play well 

in certain markets. THOR1/2 is more generally liked. Then again, those

colder markets (Germany, Russia, S Korea) may warm up to this hero

after the super-robust performance of TA.
