Do you think that's because of reviews? Or is it because it's not premiering during the summer like the first CA did? 

 

It just seems like the better movie overall than CA1, so I guess Cap's simply not a popular character overseas. 

CA1 was the biggest Avenger movie before The Avengers. So it was quite popular over here. But that was mainly because it opened in the middle of the Summer. This one won't have that luck.

Yup, it is indeed bombing. I am not even sure if it is going to reach Thor 2's OW at this point. These movies here don't work outside of Summer or Holidays. Maybe Easter break will give it a bump next weekend with kids out of school.

In Germany, it's opening a lot higher than CA1 (ok, that was nearly flop territory), estimates are more than 200k admissions for the weekend. No blockbuster, but at least decent.
