can someone post a comparison of openings with Thor 2

Italy: First 3 days Thor:TDW $1.99M, CA:TWS $1.43M, 28% less than Thor 2. But the most important days are today and tomorrow. On Wed TWS did 32.6% less than TDW. On Thursday 18.8% less than Thor. And on Friday only 17.4% less than Thor. So it's getting better. Let's see what happens at the end of the week.

I always expected European numbers to be weaker than Thor2. Hopefully China and many other Asian territories make up for it. Latin America is pretty up in the air at this point. I could see it open well in Brazil and Mexico, but with TASM2 coming so soon after, good legs will be a struggle.

CATFA OS was about 72% of Thor OS. I'm expecting it to close the gap. My low bar for CAWS would be 80%, but I really would like 90%. I doubt it'll do higher.

350m seems reasonable. The movie faces some competition from Noah and Rio 2 next week and then Spider-Man a couple weeks later so it is not a bad number given the circumstances

Yeah, like I said, 450m is unreachable with so many big releases in April. People should forget about 700m ww.

Its defenitely not gonna get avengers/im3 kind of bump domestically where record start OS helped fuel domestic opening. So it will open around thor 2 +/- 10%. So 80-90M OW is the range. We will have to wait and see how the hype builds next week.

Yeah, it is opening 80~90m DOM. that's always the range. 100m+ predictions are nuts. Neither do I think it will get (close to ) 250m dom (maybe 220~30m with good legs).

 

400m os is still not impossible, but 350m seems safer at the moment.

 

If it misses 400m, it literally is missing yearly top 10 os.
