wow who'd a thought DoS would open softer than Frozen.  (I just joined the Frozen>DoS dom club. haha)

I've moved on to acceptance that this franchise isn't going to capture the public's imagination ... and money like the previous films.

Showings will have different trailers sometimes-when I saw TS1 and 2 in 3d it was odd-I saw part 2 first then part 1 which both had a different set of trailers.

When I saw Avengers the screen was having problems so I went to another screen and it had a different set of trailers.

They are suppose to have certain trailers play with movies and the theater can add there own. Some theaters do not play the trailers that are attached to the film even thou they are suppose to.

One thing about releasing films this time of year is how people have other things to do, as well as don't have enough money and snow and stuff.

Knew people say its a disappointment-even if it made 40M on its OD

I enjoyed this more than the first. The spider attack, barrel escape, Laketown, and the awesome Smaug. Gorgeous.

That would mean less admissions for the full day than CF had in it's previews/midnights. That's pretty terrible.
